1About these terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Virat Kumar, the independent developer in India who makes Plinth ("we", "us"). They cover the Plinth Android app and Plinth Sites, our website hosting (together, "Plinth").
By tapping "I agree" or by using Plinth, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Plinth.
2Who can use Plinth
- You must be 18 or older to use Plinth on your own.
- If you are 13 to 17, you may use Plinth only with a parent's or guardian's permission and supervision. Your parent or guardian accepts these Terms for you and is responsible for your use.
- The built-in Plinth AI is for users 18 and older only. This is required by the terms of the AI models behind it.
- Users under 18 may use Plinth only with their own API key, with a guardian's permission, and only where that provider's terms allow it.
- Plinth is not meant for children under 13. They must not use it.
3Plinth AI and other AI services
Plinth AI gives you free access to AI models run by third-party providers. Your prompts, images and project code are sent to them to create your app. They may log this content or use it to improve their models, as explained in our Privacy Policy. Do not include personal or confidential information.
Plinth AI is free and offered as it is. Models may be slow, busy or unavailable. We may add, change or remove models, change limits, or stop Plinth AI at any time, without notice.
If you add your own API key, you use that provider under its own terms, and you are responsible for its costs and rules. Keep your key private.
Web search, when switched on, sends search queries to third-party search services and reads public web pages. You can switch it off in Settings.
4Your content
You own what you put into Plinth, such as your prompts and images. As between you and us, you also own the apps Plinth makes for you, subject to the rights of others and the terms of the AI providers.
You must have the right to use anything you add, such as images, text, logos or code.
When you publish a site, you give us a worldwide, free, non-exclusive permission to store, copy and show that site to the public, only to run Plinth Sites. This permission ends when the site is unpublished or removed, except for copies others have already made.
5Publishing with Plinth Sites
- Published sites are public to anyone with the link.
- You are fully responsible for what you publish.
- You can unpublish your site at any time from the app.
- Each install can publish up to 30 times a day. We may change this limit.
- Links are first come, first served. We may refuse or reclaim a link name that is misleading, offensive or reserved.
- We do not promise to keep any site online, and we do not keep backups. Keep your own copy.
6Rules: what you must not do
You must not use Plinth to create, publish or share:
- anything illegal, or anything that helps someone break the law
- malware, viruses, spyware, or code meant to harm devices, data or networks
- phishing pages, fake login pages, or copies of real brands, banks, shops, government sites or apps meant to trick people
- content that pretends to be another person or organisation
- content that infringes copyright, trademarks or other rights
- hate speech, harassment, threats, or content that promotes violence or self-harm
- any sexual content involving minors, or intimate images of anyone shared without consent
- scams, spam, or misleading offers
- other people's personal information without their permission
You must also not attack, overload, scrape or try to break into Plinth, its servers or the AI services, or try to get around limits or safety measures.
7Reports and removal
To report a published site that breaks these rules, contact us on +91 92969 33126 (phone or WhatsApp) with the site link.
We may remove any published site, without notice, if we believe it breaks these Terms or the law, or if we receive a valid legal request. We may also block publishing from an install that breaks these rules. Where Indian law requires, we will keep relevant information and cooperate with authorities.
8AI output
AI makes mistakes. The code, text, designs and answers Plinth produces:
- may be wrong, incomplete, insecure or similar to existing work
- are not professional, legal, medical or financial advice
- have not been checked by us
Review and test everything before you use or publish it. You are responsible for how you use the output and for what you publish.
9Plinth belongs to us
The Plinth app, its name, logo and design belong to Virat Kumar. You may use the app for your own personal or commercial projects, but you may not copy, resell or reverse-engineer the app itself, except where the law allows.
10No warranty
Plinth is free and provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we give no warranty of any kind, including that Plinth will be error-free, secure, always available, or fit for a particular purpose.
11Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by Indian law:
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost data, lost profit, or loss caused by AI output, published sites or third-party services.
- Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to INR 1,000.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.
12Your responsibility
If your content or your use of Plinth breaks these Terms or the law and causes a claim against us, you agree to be responsible for it, to the extent the law allows.
13Changes and ending
Plinth is a free service and may change or stop at any time. We may update these Terms. When we do, we will change the version and effective date above, and the app will ask you to agree again if the change matters. If you keep using Plinth after that, the new Terms apply.
You can stop using Plinth at any time by unpublishing your sites and uninstalling the app. We may stop your access if you break these Terms.
14Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of India.
